NEW GOLF COURSE FOR CESSNOCK
Cessnock is set to get a new 18-hole Jack Newton designed championship golf course and a new residential development. The $30M project will be a significant boost to the local economy.
From July 31st 2010, the current course will be closed to allow the developers to do their work.
In late 2011, the course will reopen with 18 new holes, improved facilities and 73 completed residential lots fronting the course. The development also includes plans for a new Bowls Green, Clubhouse and Hotel, with the final stage of the development due for completion in March 2013.
